Surgical procedure that uses radiofrequency pulses to inactivate some of the sensory nerve fibres that come from the muscles and enter the spinal cord in order to relieve neck pain.
Lumbar Rhizotomy
Facet joint rhizotomy is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed under local anaesthetic and x-ray guidance to cauterize the nerve creating damage that prevents the pain signal from getting to the spinal cord and brain.
