The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on the scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter if done with willingness.
On Wednesday, 26 July 2017 staff were invited to participate in the staff wellness initiative called Laughing yoga.
A laughing yoga facilitator demonstrated to our staff how they could combine laughter with yoga breathing to bring more oxygen to their bodies and their brains that would help in feeling more energetic and healthy.
He explained and demonstrated to the staff that anyone can laugh for no reason, without relying on humour or jokes and that this would aid in the relief of tension and stress.
