Medical Forum Theatre staff answered a global call to action that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world and the ability to make a positive impact.

The Eye and Laser Institute and Medical Forum Theatre celebrated Women’s Day by hosting our 6th Annual Ladies Breakfast on Women’s Day, the 9th of August 2017 at Dolphins Leap Conference Centre in Port Elizabeth.

The PE Eye and Laser Institute and Medical Forum Theatre hosted their 5th Annual Ladies Breakfast at The Granary on Women’s Day (9 August 2016) with over ninety ladies from various medical disciplines in attendance.

To commemorate and celebrate the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela, staff from Medical Forum Theatre (MFT) responded to the nationwide call to action to help make a difference in someone else’s life or helps make their lives a little bit easier on International Nelson Mandela Day 2016.

On Tuesday, 23 January 2018 Medical Forum Theatre and the Eye and Laser Institute held an official “cheque handover ceremony” following the successful White Cane Charity Run.

The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on the scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter if done with willingness.

On Wednesday, 26 July 2017 staff were invited to participate in the staff wellness initiative called Laughing yoga.

International Nurses’ Day is celebrated annually on the 12th of May, to commemorate the founder of modern day nursing, Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
